Commission Work T&Cs
Reference Photos & Accuracy
• Photos: Clear, high-resolution photos in daylight work best.
For custom 'Places you Love' portraits real estate listing links or Google Street View references, if available, work well too.
Please provide a reference photo taken from the specific angle you wish to be painted, as the artwork's perspective will be based on this primary image. Feel free to attach extra snaps for close ups of details, colours and garden elements.
• Artistic Omissions/Additions: Requests to remove unwanted items or add small elements for house/building commissions (e.g., house numbers, custom text) must be requested and agreed upon before painting begins.
• Artistic Interpretation: The portrait is a hand-painted, artistic interpretation of your photo/images, not a direct photographic reproduction. Minor variances in perspective, colour saturation and texture are inherent to watercolour art.
Proofing, Revisions & Changes
• Pencil Sketch/Proof: You will be sent a digital photo of the pencil line sketch for approval prior to laying down ink and watercolour.
• Included Revisions: This step includes one round of revisions to make small adjustments or lettering before ink and paint are applied. Once you approve the sketch and work begins with permanent ink and watercolour pigments, no further changes are possible.
Payment & Pricing
• Full payment is required at the time of purchase to secure your commission slot and place in the creation queue.
• Work on your piece will not commence until clear, usable reference photos have been provided.
Commission Slots
Commission slots correspond to the month your artwork enters the studio schedule. For example, if you book ahead for a December slot, work on your piece begins in December.
Our standard turnaround time is 2 - 3 weeks once your booked month begins and your reference details and layout are finalised. Please keep in mind that if details are delayed or confirmed late in the month, completion and delivery will naturally carry over into the following month.
Cancellation & Refunds
• Custom Order Policy: Due to the bespoke, hand-painted nature of custom artwork, orders cannot be canceled or refunded once work has commenced.
• Completed Pieces: Custom artwork cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once completed and dispatched.

• Ownership of Artwork: The buyer purchases the physical original painting only.

• Shipping Carriers: Orders are shipped via Australia Post with tracking and are to be signed for upon delivery.
• International Customs & Taxes: International buyers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties or taxes applied by their country.
